We all have a right to communicate.

Here at Speechcombers, we offer a neurodiversity-affirming approach. This means that we do our best to really get to know your child, and help them to understand and express themselves authentically. Some example goal areas that we may work on include pronouncing sounds more clearly, understanding language, putting thoughts into words, sentences, or stories, advocating for what we need, and understanding how our brains and others’ brains work.

Following conversations about how best to support your child, we may use sign language, visual supports, and/or Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to support your child’s communication, as well as supporting your child’s verbal language development.
